Hwiyoung Lee

I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine, working under the supervision of Professor Shuo Chen. I received my Ph.D. in Statistics from Florida State University, where I was advised by Vic Patrangenaru.

My research focuses on developing statistical and machine learning methods for analyzing large-scale, complex data, particularly in neuroimaging and multi-omics research. I am also interested in manifold-valued data analysis, especially statistical shape analysis.
